Have you Heard about the Soundstorm in the Desert?

MDLBeast Soundstorm in the Desert was a groundbreaking music festival that took place in Saudi Arabia in 2019 for the first time.

The festival was organised by MDLBeast, a local music and entertainment company, and was the largest festival of its kind in the kingdom. In 2022 the festival was even bigger and better than ever before. Approximately 600,000 people attended the 3 day event and artist performing were: DJ Khaled, Post Malone, David Guetta and Bruno Mars.

 

Many of the artists were in Saudi Arabia for the first time such as DJ Khaled who toured several attractions not just in Riyadh but also in Jeddah and Al Ula. He said of his experience that even the lettuce tasted better.

One of the most striking features of the festival was its unique design. The main stage was a massive, futuristic structure that resembled a giant metal tree. The stage was surrounded by smaller stages and interactive installations, including a virtual reality experience that allowed festival-goers to explore different parts of the desert.

 

In addition to the music, the festival also featured a variety of art installations, cultural performances, and food and beverage offerings. There were also activities such as sand-boarding and camel rides, allowing attendees to fully immerse themselves in the desert experience.

The festival was a major success, attracting tens of thousands of attendees from all over the world. It was also a significant moment for the kingdom, as it marked the country’s first major music festival and a significant step forward in its cultural development.
