We were lucky to attend the Opening Ceremony on 3rd October 2024 in Riyadh which showcased all this incredible talent – it was truly spectacular. From raising the Saudi flag to carrying the Saudi torch via the whole country – the athletes and locals took such a lot of pride at this event that showcased this incredible event.

This marks a significant departure from the Kingdom’s past, where women’s participation in sports was limited and often discouraged.
