Rotana Alhashimi is a Saudi Arabian entrepreneur and designer based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She has been dressing the women of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 2006 and is proud to be the first local designer to introduce multi-coloured patterns and textiles to women’s wear in the kingdom. Her design incorporates a passion for the heritage of the culture and modern design.
She has also created a beautiful brand called Mihrab, which carries bespoke designed prayer mats. Prayer mats are such an incredible way of showing hospitality in hotels or gifts to Muslim clients.
Qatar: Amal Ameen
Amal Ameen, a Qatari entrepreneur, is a driving force in the beauty, perfume and fashion industry. Her love for fashion can be seen in La Boutique Blanche, which is a unique multi brand store born from the thought of creating a universe of fashion that brings countries together under one roof.
The interior design represents in every single element the inspiration of Amal Ameen; and its strength, shows a determined woman that is gaining attention in the design scene internationally.
